Philipp Gude

Philipp Gude

Chief Sales Officer - (CSO) of GUDE

Philipp Gude completed a dual study programme as a sales engineer (M. Eng.). At the same time, he completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in a leading industrial company. Philipp Gude knew early on that he had a salesman’s heart.

So his next obvious step was to gain his first sales experience at one of Germany’s large IT system integrators. But soon Philipp Gude was drawn from IT consulting to the growing family business: Founded by his father over 30 years ago, GUDE is a manufacturer of reliable power and monitoring solutions for professional IT and AV infrastructures. Here Philipp Gude joined the sales field force with a focus on the AV sector. In June 2022, he became Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of GUDE Systems.

After two years, small, medium and large AV system integrators in EMEA rely on GUDE power solution. They trust Philipp Gude personally and appreciate his technical expertise. Philipp Gude explains: “The AV industry is for me like a little family!” What drives Philipp Gude every day are enthusiastic and happy customers. His vision is that building, IT and AV installations are connected, controlled and monitored in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

In just two years Philipp contributes significantly to a changed AV industry using a reliable switched IP power strip as a standard in AV installations to secure and monitor them. The benefits are obvious to the system integrators: They have less service costs while the end customer benefits from reduced electricity costs, less downtime as well as an increase of operational reliability. Philipp changed the way of managed service concepts for system integrators: From simply managing problems, to avoiding them and proactively addressing them. This results in reduced service costs and much faster reaction times.
