During Seatec 2017 in Italy, we saw the FK Group demonstrated the latest prototype for their Tecno Freccia machine, an automated cutting system that wishes to innovate in the field.
The machine is able to cut a variety of materials including PVC, fibreglass, carbon fibre, laminated fabrics, wadding, rubber, wall and pipe insulation, nylon, foam, medical-rays protection fibre, and even Kevlar. A great piece of technology to work on the interior and exterior materials for superyachts.
The EVO CUT software is also an inclusive solution that can work with numerous file types including ISO, HPGL, DFX, and DWG. The machine certainly looks to be a sound investment, particularly for the purposes of future-proofing manufacturing equipment.
